Beautiful time capsule vintage bass, made in Italy in the early 1960's. Appears to be 100% original, with the original teardrop case. Includes vintage Bobby Lee (Ace-style) woven Hippie Strap, a 1968 copy of The Simandl Book: "New Method for String Bass" (Part I), vintage pitch pipe and cable. A beautifully crafted semi-hollow bass that delivers an incredibly warm, woody, and thump-heavy vintage tone. Vox gear was incredibly popular and became the visual and sonic symbol of the British Invasion of the 1960's.
